Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Rutherglen-based client. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a busy, high-performing warehouse environment.

What's on offer?

  • Full-time permanent contract, working 5 days per week
  • An annual salary starting from 29,000 per annum

Working as a Warehouse Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate effectively across all levels and departments, showing strong leadership and teamwork
  • Liaises with customers, suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Strategically manage the warehouse in line with company policies and vision
  • Oversees receiving, warehousing, distribution, stock control, and maintenance operations
  • Plan daily schedules, allocating tasks to ensure efficient completion of operations
  • Work with the Customer Services Administrator to maintain clear communication with customers and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling, shipping, and HMRC record-keeping requirements
  • Follow all business procedures and complies with health & safety legislation and company standards
  • Focus on customer needs, maintaining high levels of quality, productivity, and compliance
  • Escalate issues and risks promptly to support continuous improvement

To be successful in this Warehouse Team Leader position, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:

  • Ability to assess risks, follow health & safety requirements, and ensure HMRC compliance
  • Experience in bottling or a technical production environment (with systems knowledge desirable)
  • Strong communication (written, verbal) and numerical skills
  • Detail-focused with a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Reliable and resilient, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Team player with a strong work ethic, flexible to learn and support multiple processes
  • Positive, proactive, and committed to completing tasks to a high standard
