A leading firm in the renewable energy sector is seeking a dedicated and proactive professional to oversee Health & Safety operations across Windfarms, Substations, and Battery Storage projects in and around Glasgow. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce robust health and safety policies across multiple project sites
- Conduct regular site inspections and detailed risk assessments
- Ensure full compliance with current legislation, standards, and best practices
- Lead and deliver engaging safety training sessions and workshops
- Work closely with project managers to embed safety measures into project plans
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Chartered status in Health & Safety (CMIOSH or equivalent)
- Significant experience in Health & Safety management within the renewable energy sector
- Strong working knowledge of relevant UK Health & Safety legislation and standards
- Proven experience on Windfarms, Substations, and Battery Storage projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within project teams
