Operations Planner

Full time role Monday to Friday

8am to 4.30 pm

Salary up to £25K to £30K per annum

Job role:

  • Maximising utilization of direct labour and self-employed resources to meet the requirements of clients and other staff development needs
  • Anaylyse jobs, both reactive and planned and allocate them to the correct resource-based locations, skill, priority, and customer requirements
  • Reporting any planning and scheduling issues to the relevant department
  • Ensure clear and concise quality updates reflecting true programme progress for commercial courses and modern apprenticeships
  • Work with the manager to ensure management and delivery of contracts against client’s service level agreements
  • Track work in progress levels on all contracts, ensuring timely completion of jobs
  • Scheduling trainers and assessor’s work
  • Plan 12 week look ahead commercial courses to meet customer demand and increase company profit
  • Draft rolling 12-month scheduling of courses
  • Assess what programs need promoting and highlight to the sales team any risks or opportunities
  • Take lead in weekly planning meetings, against the business agenda

Job Requirement:

  • Must have experience in commercial planning and coordinating
  • 2 years’ experience in working within a scheduling/resource planning environment
  • Used Microsoft office and using database management systems
  • Driving license essential as some travel required occasionally, all expenses paid
  • Desirable if PRINT2 project management
  • Desirable if understanding of qualification and awarding body frameworks
