The Role: You will be responsible for all the repair and maintenance of the EC&I equipment on site. You will ensure a safe and efficient working environment for you and your colleagues, and you will plan, organise, and undertake corrective and reactive work. Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out pre-planned maintenance inspections as defined by the site maintenance plans and plan and plan and deliver reactive work to ensure downtime is minimised
  • Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved
  • Carry out fault finding and rectifying as and when required
  • CMMS use
  • Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections

This role includes a 1 in 4-week call-out rota which you are paid for. You must be able to be on

About you:

  • Experience in EC&I engineering within the process or manufacturing industry
  • Experience working with CMMS
  • DCS/SCADA experience
  • Worked in an electrical role with electrical experience, PLC, control systems and Inverter drives
  • City & Guilds, HNC, NVQ level 3 qualified or similar
  • Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative
  • Great understanding of proactive maintenance strategies
  • Great understanding of electrical drawings
