The Role: You will be responsible for all the repair and maintenance of the EC&I equipment on site. You will ensure a safe and efficient working environment for you and your colleagues, and you will plan, organise, and undertake corrective and reactive work. Responsibilities include:
- Carry out pre-planned maintenance inspections as defined by the site maintenance plans and plan and plan and deliver reactive work to ensure downtime is minimised
- Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved
- Carry out fault finding and rectifying as and when required
- CMMS use
- Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections
This role includes a 1 in 4-week call-out rota which you are paid for. You must be able to be on
About you:
- Experience in EC&I engineering within the process or manufacturing industry
- Experience working with CMMS
- DCS/SCADA experience
- Worked in an electrical role with electrical experience, PLC, control systems and Inverter drives
- City & Guilds, HNC, NVQ level 3 qualified or similar
- Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative
- Great understanding of proactive maintenance strategies
- Great understanding of electrical drawings
