About the Role:

Just graduated and ready to make your mark? Join our Power Systems team as a Graduate Engineer and dive straight into real projects that power everyday life. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, support Project Managers, and collaborate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to help deliver key electrical infrastructure projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Electrical Engineering graduate to get stuck into hands-on work across the full project lifecycle - from planning and procurement to reporting and delivery. You'll also gain insight into commercial tracking and project management, helping you build the skills to shape the future of energy and infrastructure.

Whether you're collaborating with teams, supporting project planning, or diving into the technical details, you'll be learning, contributing, and making an impact from day one.

Graduate Electrical Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day operations, reporting, and commercial activities.
• Assist in maintaining accurate project records, including purchase orders, invoicing, cost estimation, and subcontractor applications.
• Produce and issue monthly reports to site teams, detailing project performance metrics.
• Identify additional works outside initial scope and assist in commercial evaluation.
• Maintain data systems and documentation in line with internal procedures and client expectations.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for procurement and cost tracking.
• Work with site supervisors to ensure health and safety, quality, and environmental standards are upheld.
• Assist in the resolution of project disputes, faults, and client claims.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and project outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

• A recent MEng/BEng graduate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Desirable (Training can be provided):

• Basic understanding of project management and commercial processes.
• Awareness of health & safety practices in engineering or construction.
• Previous experience (placement/internship) in a utility or engineering environment.
