Are you an experienced Section Engineer with a strong background in rail and civil engineering projects? We are working with a leading national infrastructure contractor on a high-profile long-term framework, and they are looking to expand their dynamic site team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with a growing presence across the UK rail and civils sector. The successful candidate will take a key role in project delivery, working on a range of structures, bridges, and general civils schemes within a rail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee engineering activities on site
* Set out works accurately in accordance with project specifications and drawings
* Supervise subcontractors and site operatives to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest standard
* Maintain and complete site documentation including ITPs, RAMS, and quality records
* Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
* Support the Site Manager and Project Manager in delivering works on time and within budget

Requirements:

* Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
* Proven experience as a Section Engineer on rail and/or heavy civils projects
* Proficient in setting out using modern equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)
* Strong understanding of health & safety and quality assurance
* PTS certification (preferred but not essential - can be arranged)
