Assistant Estimator

Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for anAssistantEstimatorto work for a highly successful privately owned building contractor based in Glasgow. The company specialise in new build, refurb and fit out projects up to 10 million in value in the commercial, education, retail and healthcare sectors.

Working as part of a friendly, highly experienced team, duties will include:

• Reviewing tender documents
• Undertaking site inspections and preparing reports
• Analysing drawings and producingtake off's andbills of quantities
• Preparingand sending out tender enquiries to supply chain and reviewing quotations received
• Building up an accurate cost estimatefor the works in an elemental and analytical format.
• Preparingthe commercial tender for submission to the Client.

Are currently working at Assistant Estimator level for another building contractor.

OR

Who are currently working as a Quantity Surveyor and have a strong desire to move into estimating.

Either way, you will have excellent communication skills and beable to work on your own initiative and to strict deadlines.
