An award-winning business in Scotland is seeking an experienced Electrician to work on Residential and Commercial projects in the Solar and EV sectors.
The position requires the electrician to be Technician grade as per the Scottish Joint Industry Board and ideally located within 30 minutes of Glasgow.
The role offers a salary range of £38,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, along with a van, fuel card, pension, and 28 days of holiday.
Full training on solar and EV products will be provided, but prior experience is essential.
The working hours are 40 hours a week from 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional travel and overnight stays required.

Electrician required for our client, to carry out works across Residential and Commercial settings within the Solar and EV space. Full training can be provided on these products but an experience electrician is required

The electrician will ideally be based within 30 minutes of Glasgow and be willing to work on projects across Scotland with the occasional stay aways.

You will need to be Technician grade as per the Scottish Joint Industry Board.

Electrician Remuneration

38,000 - 50,000 DOE
Van and fuel card

Electrician Responsibilities

Install Solar, Battery and EV to Residential and Commercial premises
Review design calculations for solar, battery and EV
Adhere to MCS standards

Electrician Requirements

Technician grade as per SJIB
30 minutes of Glasgow
Willingness to travel and stay away occasionally
