Position: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £40,000 per annum + Overtime + Benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
About the Role:
We’re representing a leading facilities management provider in their search for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team in Glasgow. Based on a prestigious energy sector site, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe and reliable electrical operations across a large commercial facility.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled electrician looking to join a well-structured and stable FM contract with long-term prospects and the backing of a respected industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance

Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs

Conduct periodic testing and inspections in line with current regulations

Assist with electrical installation work when required

Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety policies

Work collaboratively with other on-site engineers and contractors
What We’re Looking For:
-
Time-served Electrician with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
-
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
-
Experience in a commercial or industrial FM environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
-
Good interpersonal and communication abilities
-
A proactive approach and strong commitment to safety
