Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Consultant with expertise in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) to join a highly prestigious consultancy. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, ensuring environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.



Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver comprehensive EIA processes in accordance with local, national, and international standards.
  • Analyze environmental data, including air quality, ecology, and water resources, to assess project impacts.
  • Prepare detailed EIA reports and provide actionable recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Advise on environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including public consultations and hearings.
  • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of mitigation measures during project execution.


Qualifications



Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and best practices.


Preferred:

  • Professional certifications such as IEMA or CEnv.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary projects within sectors like energy or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in GIS or environmental modeling tools.


Day-to-Day

You'll lead EIA processes, analyze environmental data, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver sustainable solutions. Your role will involve preparing reports, advising on compliance, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure project success.
