Anderson Knight are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager, either qualified or qualified by experience, to join our clients dynamic and fast-paced finance team. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, while also contributing to the preparation of high-quality management accounts and supporting statutory audit activities in a PLC environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to operational excellence, financial integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, reducing inefficiencies, and enhancing reporting accuracy, with a focus on identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise end-to-end finance workflows and ensure smooth integration with other business areas.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for improved processes, procedures, and controls to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function, encouraging innovation and best practices.
- Provide support in the preparation of management accounts and review operational activities, including overseeing the payment run process.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles by providing accurate financial data, analysis, and insights to support decision-making.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Offer ad-hoc support to the wider finance team and the broader business, contributing to the achievement of organisational goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or equivalent experience.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results to tight deadlines.
- Experience with IFRS reporting and working in a PLC environment is advantageous, though not essential.
- Familiarity with Xero is preferred but not essential.
