To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take a leading role in managing our finance function, ensuring robust financial control, and driving insight-led decision making across the business.
Description
The successful candidate is likely to have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Manage cash flow, payroll, and financial operations, ensuring effective controls are in place to support business needs.
- Oversee and review balance sheet reconciliations, income statements, and variance analysis, providing clear commentary and actionable insights.
- Partner with the Finance Director to shape financial strategy, supporting long term planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Provide senior management with financial insights, performance analysis, and recommendations that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor the internal finance team, building capability and ensuring best practice across financial processes.
- Review and enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks, recommending improvements to support scalability and efficiency.
- Act as a key finance business partner, translating financial information into meaningful insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Profile
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)/QBE with experience in management accounting and financial control.
- Strong technical skills and proven ability to manage complex financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with financial systems (Sage, Xero, or similar), with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
- Commercially astute, detail-driven, and able to balance operational oversight with strategic perspective.
Job Offer
This role offers a competitive salary between 55,000-65,000 plus wider benefits.
