Venari Finance is delighted to bring to market a Finance Manager role with our Private Equity backed client in Glasgow.

 

The Finance Manager will report directly to the Finance Director with the role providing great operational exposure across the senior leadership team.

 

Role Overview:

  • Preparation and maintenance of weekly and monthly cash flow model.
  • Astute cash flow management, including oversight of the sales ledger team and process.
  • Completion, review and analysis of management accounts, including operations and central overheads
  • Own the quarterly forecast and assist with budget process
  • Review of key account reconciliations as prepared by accounts team
  • Providing cover for FD, management accountant and sales ledger team leader where required
  • Documentation and improvement of current processes
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

 

 

Candidate Background:

  • Qualified accountant CA/ACCA/CIMA with commercial awareness and business acumen, also willing to consider individuals currently undertaking professional exams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess and drive business improvement projects.
  • Inquisitive and ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically excel.
