The effective management of growth necessitates the strengthening of the existing finance team. As such the business seeks to recruit a Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

*Management and ownership of the month end and periodic reporting processes ensuring the delivery of quality management information*Development of the reporting pack, providing insightful information for the senior management team and wider group*Implementation of a 12 month rolling forecast*Contribution to the budgeting and business planning process*Driving efficiencies and improving systems, processes and controls*Working closely with and supporting the FC, particularly on addressing operational challenges and considerations.*Management, mentoring, training and development of a Finance Assistant*Building strong working relationships across the business.*Deputising for the FC as required

We're looking for an individual with a management reporting background ideally acquired within a sizeable organisation, and with a sound understanding of business controls. The business became part of a UK plc in 2024 and is looking for this candidate to play a key role implementing the group financial reporting requirements, so strong IT skills/savvy is a pre-requisite.

A fully qualified accountant (ACMA/ACCA/CA) is ideally sought, although we will consider an exceptional part-qualified or qualified by experience individual.

Most importantly however, the right candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, energy, initiative and the ability to gain an understanding of the operational side of the business in order to prepare meaningful forecasting and analysis.
