Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park - HGV Class 1

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for full time roles in our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts pattern available

• Wednesday to Saturday 00:00 - 12:00 (12h)

• Wednesday to Saturday 03:00 - 13:00 (10h)
• Wednesday to Saturday 05:00 - 16:00 (11h)
• Sunday to Wednesday 00:00 - 12:00 (12h)
• Sunday to Wednesday 11:00 - 23:00 (12h)

Day pay rates: 

• Monday – Friday  £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
• Saturday £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
• Saturday £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50

30-minute break deducted per shift only! 

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
