Position: Confined Space Entry Controller
Location: Glasgow
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 2 months
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri 11 hours/day, Sat-Sun 10 hours/day (12 on 2 off)
PAYE Pay Rates:
Mon-Fri, All Hrs: 20.00/hr, Including 2.15/hr Holiday Pay
Sat-Sun, All Hrs: 28.00/hr, Including 3.01/hr Holiday Pay
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting a Confined Space Entry Controllerfor a major power station construction project in Glasgow. The role will involve ensuring the safety of confined space entry by performing pre-entry checks, monitoring the work team and their equipment, maintaining communication with entrants, controlling entry and exit, and alerting a rescue team in the event of an emergency. Duties will include:
-Verifying permits and risk assessments
-Ensuring all safety documents are present and accessible.
-Checking atmospheric conditions
-Ensuring adequate safety equipment is present and functional and safety procedures are being adhered to
-Establishing and maintaining effective communication methods with entrants throughout the work period.
- Implementing safety procedures and summoning a rescue team when necessary
Requirements:
-CCNSG card
-Confined Space High Risk certificate
-Previous experience working on large industrial sites
