Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Our client is a market leader in maritime HVAC solutions, providing cutting-edge designs and systems for the Naval, Commercial, and Offshore Renewable Energy sectors. They are looking for a passionate HVAC Detail Designer to join their dynamic team and contribute to exciting projects!

What You'll Do:

As an HVAC Detail Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating and refining HVAC routed systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design Mastery: Create and modify HVAC routed systems and Bills of Materials (BOM) within an integrated 3D Model using FORAN.
  • Output Generation: Produce clear and concise 2D outputs from fully developed 3D Models, adhering to project-specific quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Interface with HVAC System Designers and other spatial design teams to resolve integration issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Data Interpretation: Work with information from HVAC system owners, including data sheets, schematic diagrams, and equipment BOMs.
  • Schematic Reading: Read and interpret complex schematic diagrams for seamless integration of HVAC systems.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Utilise HVAC equipment and parts catalogues effectively.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in HVAC detail design.
  • Proficiency in Foran and Windchill.
  • Demonstrated ability to create HVAC outputs.
  • Familiarity with part catalogues for equipment selection.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Naval/Commercial shipbuilding processes.
  • Understanding of BOM and product data sheets.
  • Experience with HVAC systems preferred, though other routed system experience will be considered.
