Job Title:  HR AssistantLocation:  East Kilbride / Office based roleSalary:  £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (plus bonus and benefits)Are you a proactive HR professional looking for a varied and busy role where you can truly make your mark?  Our client, a well-established business in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to support their senior leadership team with a wide range of HR responsibilities.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, autonomous role and is eager to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while being a key point of contact for employees across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Talent Support
  • Coordinate job adverts, screen CVs, and manage interview scheduling
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies
Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Deliver seamless onboarding experiences for new hires
  • Organise exit interviews and manage offboarding documentation
  • Keep employee records up-to-date and compliant
Employee Relations
  • Be the go-to for employee HR queries and support
  • Assist in handling employee concerns and escalating when needed
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Manage HR databases and prepare reports and documentation
  • Coordinate training and development opportunities
  • Ensure HR practices meet employment law and internal policies
  • Work closely with the company’s external HR partner on policy updates
 What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous track record gained in a HR environment, ideally within manufacturing or industrial but this is not essential
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
  • Self-starter who can manage their own workload and work effectively solo
The Package:
  • Salary: Up to £33,000 plus a performance-based bonus (paid twice yearly)
  • Hours: 35-hour working week
    • Mon–Thurs: 8:30–16:45, Fri: 8:30–12:30
  • Holidays: 35 days annual leave
  • Benefits:
