LHH is delighted to be partnered with 1st Class Credit Union to deliver this key appointment, Partnership and Development Lead.

1st Class Credit Union, formed in 1992, was originally set up to serve employees of The Royal Mail Group in Glasgow and over the years has expanded their membership-base covering the whole of the UK and Northern Ireland. 1st Class Credit Union are a not-for-profit financial co-operative, owned and run by their members and they serve their members by providing a safe and secure place to save their hard-earned money.

As Partnership and Development Lead, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong partnerships to increase membership and awareness of the credit union. This role directly contributes to the growth and sustainability of the credit union by expanding its reach, strengthening its reputation, and ensuring it remains a trusted financial partner in the community.

We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills, capable of building strong relationships and effectively presenting. The ideal candidate will be confident in engaging with senior stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to articulate the work of the Credit Union confidently and persuasively. You should excel in developing meaningful connections, driving business opportunities, and fostering collaboration across various teams and departments.
