we are seeking skilled Platers and FCAW Welders to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to major Defence-sector projects within a supportive, safety-focused organisation. This role is located in Glasgow


As a Plater or FCAW Welder, you will work across a range of heavy fabrication tasks within the Defence and Ship Repair sectors, both at our Glasgow facility and onsite as required.

Key Responsibilities of Platers & FCAW Welders

Carry out heavy fabrication and welding tasks to high-quality standards.

Work as part of a team on Defence and ship repair projects.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Undertake site-based fabrication on heavy infrastructure projects.

Essential Requirements of Platers & FCAW Welders

Proven experience in heavy fabrication and/or FCAW welding.

Experience working on site-based heavy infrastructure projects.

SVQ Level 3 qualification and Apprenticeship Trade Papers/Certificates.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Must be able to travel and work in Glasgow
