We are hiring for an experienced Handyperson to provide general maintenance, repair, and improvement services across [residential / commercial / industrial] properties. The role requires a skilled and reliable tradesperson, a background in joinery and/or plumbing would be beneficial to the role, however we ideally want someone capable of carrying out a wide range of tasks efficiently and safely.

The role involves delivering general handyman tasks within the facilities industry, efficiently, safely and in compliance with industry standards, ensuring all facilities and site infrastructure remain operational and fit for purpose across multiple locations.

This is a mobile role and van will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
  • Install, maintain, or repair fixtures such as doors, skirting boards, locks, shelving, kitchen units, and flooring.
  • Carry out plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, replacing taps, unblocking drains, and installing sanitary ware.
  • Inspect properties to identify maintenance needs and propose effective repair solutions.
  • Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and complies with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, or site managers to ensure clear communication and quality service.
  • Support other trades as required to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order.
