SRG are delighted to be working with a chemicals & pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the Greater Glasgow area who operate at the forefront of innovation and quality within the life sciences sector. As part of continued expansion plans they are now recruiting for an experienced EHS Manager

Role Overview

As the EHS Manager you will be responsible for providing expert-level support around environmental health & safety across the manufacturing site, with a key focus on the manufacturing floor and office spaces. You will ensure compliance with HSE Legislation whilst maintaining internal standards.

You will conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations across new and existing site areas and report findings back to senior leadership and key stakeholders. You will also play a major part in implementing a positive EHS culture across the workplace and staff base.

The Right Candidate

  • Demonstrable experience working in a health & safety focussed role
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing industry - pharma/chemical manufacturing preferred
  • NEBOSH Certificate - diploma preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO45001 and 14001
