**Job Advertisement: General Manager - Murphy’s Irish Bar**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our family owned Irish bar, based in the heart of Merchant City, trading Friday, Saturday & Sunday until 3am.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running

- Lead and manage a team of dedicated staff, providing training, guidance, and support

- Maintain exceptional customer service standards, ensuring a positive experience for all

- Manage stock/supplies, and implement cost-control measures

- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, reps, and maintenance companies. 

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- In-depth knowledge of Irish culture, traditions, and Guinness!

- Experience in marketing and promotion, utilizing various channels

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
