A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HR Operations Specialist to support the HR team in delivering efficient HR operations across the UK and EU.

This role is ideal for someone with strong HR experience in employee life cycle management, compliance, and payroll coordination. Based 100% on-site in Glasgow, you will play a key role in ensuring HR processes are compliant, effective, and aligned with business needs.

Role:
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, relocations, and contractual changes across UK and EU regions
- Prepare employment contracts, conduct right-to-work checks, and oversee pre-employment screening
- Act as first point of contact for employee queries relating to contracts, policies, absence, and payroll
- Support payroll by ensuring timely and accurate communication of employee changes
- Maintain HRIS records, produce HR reports, and support internal audits
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within HR operations

Skills Required:
- Experience in an HR operations or HR specialist role covering UK and EU regions
- Strong understanding of UK and EU employment law, compliance standards, and GDPR
- Experience working with payroll processes and payroll providers
- Proficiency in HR systems (Workday, BambooHR, IRIS, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

Experience & Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (completed or currently studying)
- Previous experience supporting HR activity across multiple EU countries (e.g. Netherlands, Germany, Belgium)
- Experience with HR audits or internal policy reviews
- Strong Excel skills for HR reporting and analysis
- Background in recruitment, staffing, or professional services is desirable
