Business Analyst – Business & Operational Change | Cyber Security | 12-Month Contract (Inside IR35) | Glasgow

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in business and operational change to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in delivering transformational change by analysing current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working closely with stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives. The successful Business Analyst candidate must have a background involving working on IT projects including Cyber-security.

Key responsibilities as a Business Analyst:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop business cases, requirements, and process documentation to support change initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Work closely with project managers, operational teams, and technology teams to ensure seamless delivery of change initiatives.
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes and provide recommendations to minimize risks.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives post-implementation.

Key skills & experience required:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on business and operational change.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in cyber security projects.
  • NIS certification would be preferred but not essential.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.

The successful candidate would be available to be onsite in Glasgow when needed, meaning they would be required to be a commutable distance away.
