Network Architect – 6-month Contract

A global organisation is undertaking a major Network Modernisation programme and is looking to hire an experienced Network Architect to play a pivotal role in defining and delivering this transformation.

The successful Network Architect will bring the following experience and capabilities:

  • A proven track record as a Network Architect within a global enterprise environment, ideally operating in a regulated sector such as Legal, Insurance, or Financial Services
  • Strong technical expertise across a broad range of network infrastructure technologies, including:
    • Cisco
    • FortiGate
    • Forti ADC
    • SD-WAN
    • Palo Alto
  • Demonstrable experience in end-to-end network design and implementation across both on-premise environments and Microsoft Azure
  • Responsibility for producing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation
  • A solution-focused mindset, with the ability to design solutions that align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Experience leading Design Authority activities, including solution design, governance and assurance
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with Enterprise and Security Architects to ensure solutions are fully compliant with organisational standards and security requirements

This Network Architect will be required 3 days per week onsite in Glasgow.

This Network Architect role is an immediate start, with interview slots available in early January 2026.

Please note, the Network Architect will have to go through background checks before you start, these cover Right to Work, Reference, Certification check – this process can take up to 4 weeks.
