We're partnering with a major UK infrastructure and network provider, in the search for a Tier 3 Data Network Engineer to support a large-scale transformation project. This role is suited to a seasoned contractor with strong Meraki and Cisco experience, particularly around enterprise network migrations and decommissions. Experience working with large infrastructure or network providers is essential.
?? What You'll Be Doing:- Leading the migration of LAN and Wi-Fi services from a traditional Cisco network to a Meraki DIA (Direct Internet Access) solution.
- Troubleshooting and identifying existing corporate services across Cisco and Meraki environments.
- Decommissioning legacy corporate network infrastructure.
- Supporting the installation and rollout of Meraki WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi at new sites.
- Collaborating with Network Architects on design and optimisation.
- Liaising with Project Management teams for network builds and deployments.
- Proven Tier 3-level network engineering experience.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Meraki hardware, configurations, and deployments - essential.
- Strong understanding of Cisco enterprise networks.
- Experience in network migration, decommissioning, and rollout projects.
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively with project stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional travel to client sites.
