First Achieve's Engineering Division is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Fitter for a growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region.
The position offers a temporary to permanent role after 13 weeks, with a pay rate of £17 per hour for a 39-hour work week.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4:30pm and Friday from 7am to 12:30pm, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate.
Candidates must have experience in mechanical assembly and the ability to read engineering drawings.

First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

What's on Offer:

Temp (probation) to perm after 13 weeks
Paying 17 per hour rate
39hr work week
7am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12:30pm Fri
OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.

Duties will involve the following:

assembly of mechanical components on a workbench
reading design and assembly drawings
making use of power tool

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

experience of mechanical assembly
experience of reading engineering drawings
