About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading wealth management firm as a Paraplanner in their Glasgow office. This permanent role offers the chance to support high-calibre financial professionals and work closely with clients to help make their wealth work for them.

The Glasgow team provides a range of services including private client financial planning, investment management, and solutions for professional intermediaries. Clients are at the centre of everything the team does, with a collaborative approach that ensures trusted and personalised advice.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide expert paraplanning support to Wealth Managers and Directors
  • Analyse client needs to develop tailored financial solutions
  • Create high-quality financial plans and analytical reports
  • Assist in the preparation of new client and review meetings
  • Engage with clients and contribute to the advice process
  • Understand the office’s business objectives and how your role contributes to success

What You Bring

Must-Have:

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner with a strong understanding of core and complex financial planning topics
  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills
  • Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a time-sensitive environment
  • A dependable and flexible team player

Nice-to-Have:

  • Working towards or holding the CII Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
