We are seeking a Rail Fitter who comes from a civils/construction background with experience on heavy plant.

Role offers good benefits and plenty of paid overtime if you wish.

Monday - Friday 40 hours per week.

To undertake the servicing, diagnostics, repair, inspection and delivery of all vehicles, plant and equipment to comply with legislative, Client and Company requirements.

路Heavy plant experience, preferably with RRV experience

路Good mechanical engineering skills

路Qualified or time-served diesel fitter

DUTIES

路Provide details of engine hours worked information for each item of plant

路Undertake maintenance of hire fleet vehicles as qualified and directed

路Undertake road transport vehicle maintenance activity as directed

路Undertake routine testing of safety-critical systems and equipment as directed

路Undertake annual inspection of plant equipment without a lifting capability to meet statutory requirements

路Maintain comprehensive records, both electronically and in hard copy, for each vehicle and item of plant and equipment to demonstrate the performance of all pre-hire checks, routine servicing, statutory inspection and breakdown repair

路Undertake the correct and regular maintenance and calibration of all equipment in accordance with instructions

路Maintain and inspect lifting accessories to the required standard

路Report any defect in vehicles and plant and monitor safety performance

路Ensure that all errors, non-compliance and complaints are logged, raised and handled according to the requirements of the Company鈥檚 QMS system
