Description

  • Manage and organize case files, legal documents, and client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures.

  • File legal documents with courts and government agencies, both electronically and physically.

  • Answer phones, route calls, and handle client inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, witnesses, and court personnel.

  • Perform time entry and billing tasks, including tracking billable hours and generating invoices.

  • Conduct basic legal research under attorney supervision.

  • Assist with trial preparation and logistics.

  • Maintain office supplies and handle administrative duties as needed.

Profile

  • 2+ years of experience as a legal secretary or in a legal administrative role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software (e.g., Clio, PracticePanther, or similar).

  • Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
