Job

The role of Conveyancing Paralegal will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Engaging with banks, companies, and relevant parties regarding conveyancing transactions
  • Directly receiving and acting on client instructions
  • Safeguarding clients through compliance with fraud prevention and anti-money laundering regulations
  • Drafting, reviewing, and managing legal and financial documentation
  • Overseeing the financial aspects of transactions
  • Processing and executing mortgage instructions from lenders
  • Coordinating conveyancing transactions from the conclusion of missives to final completion
  • Ensuring the timely registration of deeds
  • Conducting compliance checks related to transactions

You

As a Conveyancing Paralegal you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • A legal background through college or university education
  • Registration as a Paralegal or similar qualification (desirable)
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Strong Scottish conveyancing experience
  • Excellent organisational skills and a high degree of self-management
  • Effective communication and client-facing skills
  • An approachable personality with a flexible approach to work
  • Ambition to contribute meaningfully to team development and service provision
  • Deep knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and ID/AML regulations
