Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in East Kilbride. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, detail-focused individual with a background in logistics to take on a varied and rewarding role.
What's on offer?
- Temporary to permanent role (permanent after 12 weeks)
- 4-day working week: Monday to Wednesday 6:30am to 5pm & Thursday 6:30am to 3pm
- 13 per hour, paid weekly during temp period (then monthly once permanent)

Working as a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and check products ready for delivery
- Arrange and book transport with third-party carriers
- Manage dispatches, returns, and delivery paperwork
- Load and unload vehicles safely and accurately
- Update systems with delivery and stock information
- Pack and label goods for safe shipment
- Support with local deliveries, collections, and general yard/stock duties
- Assisting in the factory where required
To be successful in this in this Logistics Coordinator job, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:
- Previous logistics experience
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Safe loading and manual handling techniques
- Route planning and vehicle selection knowledge
- Good IT skills
- Health & Safety awareness
