**Transport Supervisor - 9-Month Fixed Term Contract**Location: Queenslie, GlasgowSalary: £32,000 per annum + OvertimeShift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00Search Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a well-established client in the transport and logistics sector who are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.**The Role:**As a Transport Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Transport and Site Manager with the day-to-day operation of the transport department. You'll ensure routes run smoothly, compliance is maintained, and customer service remains top-notch.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide administrative and logistic support to the Transport/Site Manager* Prepare daily routes and schedules for drivers* Maintain transport records and ensure compliance standards are met* Manage driver rotas, holiday planning, and daily debriefs* Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams* Compile weekly/monthly KPI reports* Respond to delivery and collection enquiries* Assist in incident/accident reporting and vehicle checks* Support plant admin and financial reporting tasks including purchase orders* Check and reconcile Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes (HWCN)**Essential Skills & Experience:*** Experience in a transport office environment* Strong administrative and organisational skills* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively**Desirable (but not essential):*** Experience with SAP or similar business software* CPC qualification (or willingness to work toward it)* NVQ Level 3 in IT or Business Administration**What's in it for you?*** Competitive salary of £32,000 per annum* Overtime opportunities available * 4 on 4 off shift pattern - work/life balance* Opportunity to work with a respected industry leader* Supportive team environmentReady to take the next step in your transport career?Apply now with your CV or contact our recruitment team for more details!
