Manufacturing Engineer (Four Day Week)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus Scheme + FOUR DAY WEEK + 27 Days Holiday + Progression + Training + Four Day Week + Additional Company Benefits

You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: East Kilbride, Glasgow, Rutherglen, Bishopbriggs, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge. Other locations will also be considered.

Do you come from a manufacturing background with previous experience in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing are looking to join an ambitious company who are passionate about the further development and progression of their employees.

In this role you will work to drive continuous improvement and improve performance within a company offering an excellent benefits package and continued staff investment.

The company are well established in their industry and supply their products to blue-chip clients across the world, due to ambitious growth plans they are now further looking to expand their teams.

This role would suit someone with a manufacturing background looking for a long term permanent position.

The role:

  • Working as Manufacturing Engineer to drive CI and increase output across a large scale automotive systems company
  • Four day working week (Monday - Thursday) (7am - 6pm) (5:30pm finish on Thursday)
  • Duties of the role will include but are not limited to; Continuous Improvement, New Product Introduction, Documentation, Lean Manufacturing, KPIs and much more.
  • Further progression and training
  • Excellent benefits package

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a similar level role such as Continuous Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or similar
  • Previous experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean methods
  • Any experience in New Product Introduction will be considered beneficial but not essential
  • Looking for a long term permanent position
