- Our client, a friendly family-run business in the East End of Glasgow, is seeking a part-time Marketing & Social Media Assistant.
- The role requires working on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm, with a salary negotiable from £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience, pro rata.
- Candidates should have a strong background in marketing and social media, along with a degree-related qualification and excellent communication skills.
- Responsibilities include developing social media strategies, creating and managing content, engaging with audiences, and analyzing performance metrics.
- The ideal candidate will be ambitious, driven, and an excellent team player, working closely with the web developer and assisting with administrative duties.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join their close knit team.
This role is part time, working Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9-5pm, all on site based.
Salary negotiable from £25-35k dep on exp, pro rata.
Job role
You will be instrumental in facilitating the creation and execution of their social media strategies, managing online content and analysing performance to optimize campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategies - setting goals, identifying target audiences, and creating content calendars.
Create and manage social media content - writing engaging copy, designing visuals, and scheduling posts across various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
Engage with audiences- responding to comments, messages, and feedback, building relationships with followers, and fostering community interaction.
Monitor and analyse social media performance - tracking key metrics, identifying trends, and optimizing campaigns based on data insights.
Stay updated on social media trends and best practice - continuously learning about new platforms, tools, and techniques.
Report on social media performance - creating reports that highlight key metrics, insights, and recommendations for future strategies.
Analysing competitor strategies and staying informed about the competitive landscape
OTHER DUITES
Work alongside our web developer to update the website
Any other administrative duties as required to assist with the smooth running of the business.
