They have been operating for 20+ years and seen continual growth to the point they have over 30 members of staff and are now looking to further grow their friendly team.In this varied role you will be responsible for overseeing process improvement projects such as maintenance schedules, fault finding and design modifications for a range of bespoke rail carriages. This is an office based role where you will work closely with the engineering teams, external contractors and the Engineering Manager to help streamline the businesses processes.

This role would suit a Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar from a Rail / Rolling Stock background looking to work autonomously on dynamic projects within a well-established company offering the chance to work a 4 day week. The Role:

  • Be the go-to person for process improvement projects
  • Support engineering team with fault finding, design modifications and optimisation of maintenance schedules
  • Liaise with engineering manager, other departments and attend site meetings
  • 38 hours per week, option to compress hours into 4 days

  • Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar
  • Rail / Rolling Stock background
  • Commutable to Hamilton
