We are currently supporting a well-established civil engineering contractor in their search for a Sub-Agent to join their growing operations across Central Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key role delivering a range of infrastructure, groundworks, and land development projects for both public and private sector clients.
You will work closely with senior project leadership, ensuring effective site coordination and driving high-quality delivery across multiple work streams.
As the sub-Agent your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Support day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and groundwork projects
* Assist with planning, programming, and coordination of site activities
* Manage site documentation including RAMS, permits, and quality records
* Lead and supervise engineering staff and subcontractors on site
* Drive compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
* Monitor progress, report on key milestones, and assist with problem-solving
The sucsessful applicant for the role will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience as a Sub-Agent or Senior Engineer in civil engineering
* Strong background in groundworks, earthworks, infrastructure, or related disciplines
* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar
* Excellent understanding of site processes, H&S legislation, and quality management
* Strong communicator with proven leadership and organisational abilities
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Central Scotland
