- Assemble products in compliance with customer specifications, following established quality control standards to ensure consistent and accurate output.
- Interpret technical documentation such as work instructions, assembly drawings, and bills of materials to carry out precise assembly tasks in line with best engineering practices.
- Raise quality concerns and report kit shortages directly to the Mechanical Team Lead to maintain workflow and product integrity.
- Verify incoming materials against drawing and specification requirements before initiating assembly operations.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times, adhering strictly to company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting efficiency, quality, and workplace development.
- Experience in a similar hands-on role within a mechanical engineering environment, or a strong interest in developing new skills in precision assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately to ensure high-quality component assembly.
- Practical experience in manual operations such as drilling, reaming, and tapping (preferred).
- Familiarity with deburring techniques and surface finishing processes (desirable).
- Proven background in a regulated industry, such as aerospace, where adherence to strict standards and traceability is essential.
