First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

What's on Offer:

  • Temp (probation) to perm after 13 weeks
  • Paying £17 per hour rate
  • 39hr work week
  • 7am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12:30pm Fri
  • OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.

Duties will involve the following:

  • assembly of mechanical components on a workbench
  • reading design and assembly drawings
  • making use of power tool

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

  • experience of mechanical assembly
  • experience of reading engineering drawings
