Hours: 20 hours per week - 7.00am to 9.00am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: 13.95 per hour
Temporary for 6 - 8 weeks
Job Description:
We are looking for a responsible and reliable School Minibus Driver to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role involves safely transporting students to and from school. You will start and finish in Glasgow picking up students from East Kilbride and Kilmarnock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the school minibus on scheduled routes
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and school policies
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Valid Cat D1 (no restrictions) or Cat D driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules
- A friendly and patient demeanour
- Must be eligible for a PVG Disclosure for Children which will be applied for by our client
