We're recruiting a Payroll Advisor to join a thriving payroll team in the heart of Glasgow. This role involves ensuring smooth payroll operations, managing expenses, and handling commission payments for temporary employees.We're looking for a candidate from a finance background who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Experience with weekly payrolls is ideal, but full payroll experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities* Processing weekly payroll and staff invoicing.* Managing statutory deductions and manual pay calculations.* Producing weekly and monthly payroll reports.* Resolving payroll queries with internal teams and employees.* Ensuring payroll systems (Merit & TriSys) are accurately updated.* Handling statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.) in line with regulations.

What We're Looking For? Strong attention to detail - accuracy is key!? Excellent communication skills - confident handling payroll queries.? Great problem-solving ability - can navigate payroll complexities.? Strong organisation skills - able to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven role.? A true team player - supportive, collaborative, and proactive.

Preferred Experience* Proficiency in Excel, Word, and payroll systems.* Understanding of tax codes and gross-to-net calculations.* Experience in processing payroll in a fast-paced environment.* CIPP qualification or equivalent is desirable.
