Responsibilities and duties of the Environmental and Sustainability Lead role
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager you will:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and goals.
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics and compliance.
- Lead sustainability projects to reduce environmental impact.
- Collaborate across business units to ensure sustainability has been integrated into business operations.
- Engage with stakeholders, communicating and educating on sustainability issues and initiatives.
- Regular environmental audits and assessments.
- Build partnerships with external organisations and groups to advance sustainability objectives.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in environmental management or sustainability - or something related.
- Min. 5 years experience in a related role.
- Proven experience of developing and implementing environmental and sustainability strategies and projects.
- Full UK driving license.
