Location: Glasgow, Scotland (Office-based, with regional travel)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00, Fri 08:30-16:00
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 DOE + package



Overview:

We're working with a well-established, fully accredited multi-utilities infrastructure provider operating within the Scottish construction and development sector. With continued growth across key projects, the business is now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of gas, water, and electrical infrastructure installations on major developments across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking utilities contractor with a strong reputation and a secure pipeline of work. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience managing multi-utility works and a working knowledge of GIRS, WIRS, and NERS.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multi-utility projects from initial planning through to final commissioning.

  • Oversee all aspects of delivery, including materials, resourcing, HSEQ compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Monitor progress to ensure works are delivered on time, on budget, and in full compliance with relevant utility standards and regulations.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, particularly those associated with underground utility works.

  • Work closely with internal coordination and design teams to ensure seamless execution of the programme of works.

  • Attend regular site and office-based meetings, including design reviews, progress updates, and budget reviews.

  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.



Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing utility installation projects within the civil or construction sectors.

  • Strong working knowledge of GIRS, WIRS, and NERS.

  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Relevant utility qualifications, such as:

    • NCO 2 Gas Mains

    • Gas SHEA & Power SHEA

    • NCO 2 Water Mains

    • Water SHEA & DOMS 1-12

    • Water Hygiene

  • Additional desirable qualifications:

    • Water SCMC

    • SCO (Competent Person)

    • NRSWA (Supervisor level)
