Description
- Develop and oversee project plans, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout project execution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare detailed project documentation and reports for internal and external use.
- Support the Engineering & Manufacturing team with strategic input and guidance.
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- Previous experience in similar role, with heavy engineering and fabrication projects background
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Direct work experience in project management capacity
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and budgeting experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, planning and time management skills
- Qualification in Project Management or relevant Engineering discipline
Desirable
- Marine industry experience
- Experience in renewables industry, specifically offshore windfarms
- Experience in engineering and manufacturing with understanding or hands-on experience in latest manufacturing and welding techniques
- Chartered APM or working towards
