Contract Scotland are working with a well-established construction and fit-out contractor based in Glasgow who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support a long-standing, high-profile client account.

As Project Manager, you will oversee approximately £3m worth of work each year, split across multiple projects typically varying from £50k-£500k. The works are varied and fast-paced, covering everything from smaller maintenance and upgrade packages through to full retail shop refits and commercial fit-out projects, generally within live environments.

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing projects from pre-start through to completion and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing delivery of construction projects, managing programme, budget, quality and resources.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously within a busy live environment.
- Leading and motivating site teams while maintaining a robust safety culture.
- Identifying project risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Managing project scope, tracking progress, and ensuring milestones are achieved.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, design teams and the wider supply chain.
- Ensuring high-quality reporting, compliance and project governance throughout.

About you:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or general building works.
- Experience working in live environments.
- Comfortable working across the central belt of Scotland.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong communicator, confident dealing with repeat clients and senior stakeholders
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially aware.
