Anderson Knight are pleased to be partnering with our established client on the critical appointment of Finance Business Partner. This is an opportunity to join a business going through a period of sustained growth and play a strategic role in driving the business forward.
Reporting directly to Director level, this role will play a critical part in decision making, partnering with Senior Management and key stakeholders to support key business units and deliver long term goals in a highly competitive sector.
Responsibilities will include:
- Undertake key month-end tasks including journal entries, financial analysis and KPI reporting
- Conduct monthly cost centre reviews with budget holders, providing variance and trend analysis against budget and forecast, providing guidance and partnership on variance.
- Lead the annual budget and forecasting process
- Deliver financial analysis and support for third-party product costing and pricing agreements.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Identify and guide profit improvement initiatives, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with multiple business units and build strong relationships across the business, acting as a collaborative business partner.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of key strategic initiatives and projects.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Fully Qualified ACCA/CA/CIMA Accountant
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a strategic partnership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence decision-making.
