Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cost control and will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures

  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects

Experience

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential
  • Proven experience in cost control within the construction industry is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications for quantity surveying and cost management
