Contract Scotland are working closely with a busy fit-out and refurbishment contractor to source an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Glasgow based team. Delivering projects across a range of sectors including healthcare, commercial, education, and more, they have a secure pipeline of work for at least the next six years through successful ongoing frameworks.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a contracting environment, ideally fit-out, and will have previously worked with NEC contracts. Projects will be fast paced with a quick turnaround, so you will be a dynamic and proactive individual ready to work closely with the commercial and operations team to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Advising and liaising with operational management on contract and commercial matters.
- Advising on all commercial reports; assuring valuations are maximised and paid on time.
- Reporting on monthly costs, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing cost forecasts.
- Ensuring quotations are evaluated carefully and comply with project specifications.
- Successfully managing sub-contractor accounts.

To be considered for this role:
- You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Have demonstrable commercial experience within the construction industry.
- Experience working on frameworks would be a bonus!
