Allied Site Services Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor on a full time permanent basis .

Office based in Glasgow, G75

45 Hours a week

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Will be required to manage all related costs to construction projects , ensuring they are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, from initial estimates to final costs. This includes preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This involves managing contractual agreements and advising on procurement strategies
Conduct feasibility studies to assess materials, labor, and time costs, providing clients with accurate financial forecasts.
Track project progress, costs, and budgets, adjusting estimates as necessary based on changes in design or construction work
Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met and to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Identify potential financial or construction risks and provide solutions to mitigate them, ensuring the project remains on track.

Required Skills and Qualifications

degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management within the construction industry is essential.At least 3 years
Strong analytical and numerical skills to assess costs and manage budgets effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating contracts and liaising with stakeholders.
Familiarity with construction methodologies, regulations, and cost estimation software.
