Allied Site Services Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor on a full time permanent basis .
Office based in Glasgow, G75
45 Hours a week
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Will be required to manage all related costs to construction projects , ensuring they are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, from initial estimates to final costs. This includes preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This involves managing contractual agreements and advising on procurement strategies
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess materials, labor, and time costs, providing clients with accurate financial forecasts.
- Track project progress, costs, and budgets, adjusting estimates as necessary based on changes in design or construction work
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met and to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Identify potential financial or construction risks and provide solutions to mitigate them, ensuring the project remains on track.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management within the construction industry is essential.At least 3 years
- Strong analytical and numerical skills to assess costs and manage budgets effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating contracts and liaising with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction methodologies, regulations, and cost estimation software.
